Web-CMS :: Web Based Content Management System
Step 0: Introduction
This tool facilitates to create site maps, editing of menus and sub-menus of the Web site. Site map is basically the skeleton of the website. “Navigation” is the place where you can create “Sections”, “Content pages”, “Redirection pages” and “Plugins” for your website. To create the sitemap of your website, click on the Navigation section as shown below:

 Step 1:
The screenshot below shows editing of sub-menus of a particular section. The right-side box displays all the submenus or subsections of the particular menu item (similar description applies to the menu editing).

Step 2:
To add a menu item, enter the item name in the “Item Name” field as shown below:

and then click "Add”. This action will result in displaying the corresponding text in the text-boxes on the left side

Step 3:
Select a category between “Section”, “Subsection”, “Redirection”, “Plugin” for the Item. 
  • Section: If you want to put more than one pages under a Menu Item, define the Item as Section. You can create as many as pages under a section you like. The section behaves in a similar manner as folder.
    Note: One can create a section under a section also.
  • Content Page: If the menu item is an individual page, categorized it as “Content Page”.
  • Redirection: If you want to link the menu item to another web page (internal/external), categorized it as “Redirection Page”.
  • Plugin: If the Item you have added is a plugin (ref: Plugin Homes) then categorized it as Plugin.
Step 4:
You can make the Menu Item as Public or Private as per your wish. By making the menu item public by clicking the radio button “Yes”, the menu item gets displayed in web as shown below:

If you click on the radio button “No”, the menu item will not get displayed in web.

Step 5:
You can hide the Item name from the Navigation by checking the check box “Hide on Navigation Menu” as shown below:

Note: The contents of the page will be displayed in web without the Item name.

Step 6:
  • Add: Enter a web page or a section name; choose if it is an Content Page or a Redirection; declare if it is Public or not. Finally click "Add."
  • Edit: Highlight the item in the right box; modify the item details in the fields on the left side; and click "Edit."
  • Delete: Highlight the item in the right box; and click "Delete."
  • Down in Tree: Highlight the item in the right box; and click "Down in Tree" to go to the corresponding lower level of menus/navigation. For example, a menu item “Profile” is added as “Section” shown below:

You want to add two Content pages into this section as “Brief” and “Detailed”.
Select the menu item “Profile”, Click "Down in Tree". A window will open up as shown below:

Add the Item name “Brief” and “Detailed” one by one as shown below:

Note: This is only applicable for menu item “Section”.
Click "Save" to save the changes you have made
  • Up in Tree: Click "Up in Tree" to go the parent level of menus/navigation.
  • Save: Click "Save" to save the changes you have made with the Sitemap Editor in this session.
    Note: this step is critical to reflect the changes.
  • Cancel: Click "Cancel" to cancel the changes you have made with the Sitemap Editor in this session
Step 7:
To publish your site in more than one language, you can go for Multilingual Setup (ref: Multilingual Setup)
