Web-CMS :: Web Based Content Management System
Step 0: Introduction
ePhoto is easy to use, flexible and fast image management software. Users can view images stored in different galleries and sub-galleries. ePhotoTM provides a simple solution to manage online photo galleries which stores images and data associated with images. The photo galleries are customised to the look-and-feel of the website. The website owner can also upload multiple photographs onto a gallery. Each of the images is viewed in three different forms like a thumbnail, enlarged photo and a part of slide-show.

Step 1:
To Manage the ePhoto Click on the manage button as shown below:

A window will come up as shown below:

Step 2:
There are two buttons “Create Album” and “Configure”
You can add number of Albums to be displayed in a row, number of Photos to be displayed in a row, number of Photos to be display in a page, can display-enlarged photos in a frame, can choose the frame for the Album to be displayed. To avail this facilities you need to Configure.

To Configure the Album, click on the “Configure” as shown below:

Step 3:
After clicking “Configure” button, a pop up window will open up as shown below:

Step 4:
Select the no. of Albums you want to display in a row by clicking on the drop down as shown below:

Maximum 4 Albums can be displayed a arrow

Step 5:
One needs to arrange the photos in arrow. For that you have to select the no. of rows for the photo in the album as shown below: Maximum 5 photos can be arranged in a row.

Step 6:
You can also select the no. of photo’s you want to display in a page by selecting from the drop down as shown below:

Maximum 100 photos can be displayed in a single page of the album.

Step 7:
You can display the photos in a frame also. For That Click on the radio button “Yes” in “Display enlarged photos in a frame?” as shown below. There are 5 samples of frame provided. You can select any one of the frames by clicking on the radio buttons below the frame. All the photos in the photo gallery will have the frame you have choosen. This makes your gallery more attractive and uniform.

If you don’t want need the frames for the photos, click “No” ” in “Display enlarged photos in a frame?”

Step 8:
There are two frames provided for the Albums to be displayed. Click on the radio button under “Choose Album Display” you want for your albums as shown below:

Click “Save” to save all the information’s you have provided as shown below:

If you want to cancel the selections you have made, click “Cancel” button.

Step 9:
Now we need to create the Album. Click on “Create” button as shown below:

A pop up window will open up as shown below:

Step 10:
Provide the Album Title in the field given as shown below

You can make the album Public by clicking on the radio buttons “Yes” or “No”. By making the Album Public, the album will be viewed in the web else it will become private. The album will not be displayed in web.

Step 11:
Click Save button to save the information’s you have provided else can be canceled by Cancel button.

A window will come up as shown below:

There are three icons through which you can manage the album

  1. is to edit the Album title and change the status of the album i.e. Public or not. A pop up widow will come up as shown below.

    Click Save button to save the information’s you have provided else can be canceled by Cancel button
  2. symbolizes that the album is Public. it symbolizes that the Album is not public. By clicking on the icon will simply change the status from public to private and vice versa.
  3. is to delete the album from the Gallery. By clicking on the “Delete” button, a pop up window for confirmation of deletion will come up. To delete you can click “Ok” else click “Cancel” to cancel the action.

You can create maximum 4 albums in a row by clicking on the “Create Album” button.

Step 12:
You can also arrange the albums by clicking on the “Arrange” button as shown below

Step 13:
Click on the “Arrange” button. A window will come up as shown below:

Simply by drop and drag process, you can arrange the albums as per your choice. Click Save button to save the changes you have made. To close the window without saving, click the Cancel button.

Step 14:
Click on the album to upload the photos in the album and to view the list of albums. A window will come up as shown below:

Step 15:
To view the list of Albums click “List Of Albums”. A window will come up as shown below:

You can click upon the album to upload the photo and can also edit the album from here.

Step 16:
To upload photo’s to the album, click upon the “Upload Images” button. A pop up window will come up as shown below:

You can upload the images from your local machine and also from your ftp location. You can upload 5 images at a time.

Step 17:
To upload from local machine, click on the "Browse" button to choose the item to be uploaded. Locate the item on your computer's hard drive, select it, and click on the "Open" button.

Then click "Upload." There may be some delay or lag time while your item is being uploaded, depending on the size of the file and the speed of your Internet connection. Only images with .jpg/.jpeg extension is supported by the system

Click Save button to save the images you have uploaded. To close the window without saving, click Cancel the button.

Step 18:
To upload from local machine, click on the button “FTP Server”. A window will open up as shown below.

Provide necessary FTP information, i.e ftp IP address or ftp.yourdomain.com, FTP username and password.

click "Connect". After clicking "Connect" please wait until the file system of your remote server appears. Go to the image path as shown below:

Step 19:
Check in the boxes irrespective of the images you want to upload. Click “Import Picture Files”. There may be some delay or lag time while your item is being uploaded, depending on the size of the file and the speed of your Internet connection. Close the session once the uploading is complete by clicking on the “Close FTP Session”.
Step 20:

Publish the site (ref: Website Publisher). After publishing the site, all the albums with the photographs will get reflected.
One can view the Slide Show of the photo’s in the Web.

Note: Albums without the picture will not get display in the web after publishing
